-How do I adopt a new habit?

-You will have to pay the application fee, the legal charges and submit the medical examination and the recent income statement. If you are adopting under Domestic Program you have an option of meeting the previous owner to take the habit from , or it could be mailed to you. In later case there is a chance longer adoption period and side effects are possible.

 

-What if I want to adopt an international habit?

- In this case you will submit your passport and political preference status in addition to the standard documents requirement. A trip to the country of habit is also necessary in order to ensure the successful adoption.

 

-What if I don't like my new habit?

-There is a grace period of 30 days during which you may wish to return the habit to the agency. However, the fees are nonrefundable and True Care Adoptions Inc. is not responsible for any possible consequences of having a habit for that period of time.
